Mr. Amsbary’s primary areas of practice are health care law, labor and employment law, commercial transactions, and litigation.

Experience

Representing clients in civil litigation, arbitration and administrative matters in West Virginia and Ohio state and federal courts and administrative agencies including Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, National Labor Relations Board, United States Department of Labor, West Virginia Human Rights Commission and West Virginia Unemployment Board of Review
Advising clients in matters pertaining to labor and employment, corporate and commercial transactions, corporate compliance, risk management
Drafting and negotiating commercial and employment contracts and agreements
Conducting workplace investigations concerning sexual harassment, discrimination, retaliation, theft, abuse and other forms of misconduct, safety and wage and hour issues
Guest lecturer in areas of employment including legal updates, risk management, wage and benefits, workplace investigations and best practices
