'Risk the biscuit': Charleston attorney appointed to fill WV Supreme Court seat

Charleston attorney Gerald M. Titus III was appointed to fill the open West Virginia Supreme Court of Appeals seat vacated by Justice Tim Armstead, who died on Aug. 26, 2025. Titus, 47, was introduced as the new justice by Gov. Patrick Morrisey at a news conference at the Governor's Office at the West Virginia State Capitol on Nov. 21, 2025.
