Spilman Expands Team with Three New Associates

Charleston, W.Va. — Spilman Thomas & Battle (Spilman) announced that three new associates have joined the law firm.
Sarah W. King joined Spilman’s Morgantown, West Virginia office. A recent graduate of West Virginia University College of Law, her application to the West Virginia State Bar is pending. Upon admission, King’s area of focus will be corporate law.
Jamie L. Martines joined the firm’s Pittsburgh office. A recent graduate of Duquesne University School of Law, her application to the Pennsylvania Bar is pending. Once admitted to practice, Martines’ area of focus will be litigation.
Taiesha K. Morgan joined Spilman’s Charleston office. A recent graduate of North Carolina Central University School of Law, her application to the West Virginia State Bar is pending. Upon admission, Morgan’s area of focus will be litigation.
Each of the new associates previously participated in Spilman’s highly selective summer clerkship program, which serves as the firm’s primary recruiting pipeline for full-time associates. Spilman’s mindful approach to growth ensures that the firm hires only as many summer clerks as will be needed to fill future associate positions, eliminating competition and fostering a collegial and collaborative atmosphere for the benefit of the firm’s clients, attorneys, and staff.
