Spilman Attorneys Contribute to N.C. Construction Law Book

Winston-Salem, N.C. — The law firm Spilman Thomas & Battle, PLLC (Spilman) announced that attorneys Stephanie U. Roberts and Bryan G. Scott co-authored the “Licensing of Construction Professionals” chapter in the most current edition of the North Carolina Construction Law Deskbook. 

The Deskbook is the go-to resource for North Carolina lawyers on all manner of construction industry legal issues. It is both a resource for experienced construction lawyers and a primer for lawyers who do not frequently practice in the area of construction law. 
 
Roberts and Scott co-chair Spilman’s construction law practice group. They recently led the development of The Construct, the firm’s construction-industry focused e-newsletter. They are both AV® Preeminent™ Peer Review Rated by Martindale-Hubbell, indicating the highest level of professional excellence and ethics.
 
Roberts is admitted to practice in North Carolina, South Carolina and Florida. She earned her undergraduate degree from Emory University and her law degree from University of Florida. 
 
Scott is admitted to practice in North Carolina and Virginia. He earned his bachelor’s degree, magna cum laude, from Appalachian State University and his law degree from Wake Forest University.
