Skill Game Operator Wins High-Stakes Trademark & Contract Case
A skill game operator in Pennsylvania recently won a lengthy, high-stakes trademark and contract case. A federal jury determined that our client had the rights to their business name and that a former operator willfully and unlawfully copied and tried to trademark that name. The Spilman team developed a strategic litigation and trial plan that not only won the case but also defeated all counterclaims brought by the defendants, which included counts for breach of contract and unfair competition.
