Spilman, collaborating with our client's national counsel, won a motion for summary judgment for an insurance company in an insurance coverage dispute that arose from an airport runway collapse that occurred in 2015. Our client had provided property insurance to the airport authority, but the West Virginia Mass Litigation Panel found that the runway that collapsed was not insured under the insurance policy in question.
