Global Industrial Client Defeats Unionization Efforts
Spilman was engaged by a global industrial company for one of its newly acquired companies to address labor union activities at a facility in New Jersey. Spilman attorneys from multiple offices led the effort to defeat the unionization, and employees rejected attempts by the union to represent them in a vote of 17-14. The union did not file objections by the deadline. This is a major win for our client, especially given the strength of the union in that area.
