Two Spilman Attorneys Contribute to ABA Publication

Charleston, W.Va. — The law firm Spilman Thomas & Battle, PLLC (Spilman) announced today that Eric E. Kinder and Jeffrey D. Patton recently authored portions of “Employment at Will: A State-by-State Survey”, a publication of the American Bar Association Section of Labor and Employment Law.

Kinder co-authored the reference book’s West Virginia chapter. He, in conjunction with Spilman colleague Eric W. Iskra, is go-to counsel for a Fortune 10 client for all West Virginia-based labor and employment litigation.

Patton, member in charge of the firm’s Winston-Salem, N.C. office, co-authored the book’s North Carolina chapter. He leads the firm’s labor and employment practice in North Carolina and is well-versed in the gamut of labor and employment issues faced by employers.
