Charleston, W.Va. — Spilman Thomas & Battle (Spilman) announced that business leaders from the Mid-Atlantic region gathered Friday for the law firm's West Virginia SuperVision™ symposium. This year's symposium focused on educating employers on cutting-edge labor and employment law topics.

Presentations and discussions covered topics such as the #metoo movement, medical marijuana, mental health accommodations and social media issues. Sessions highlighted how these modern issues impact workplace strategy and what policies may need updated or laid to rest.

During the event's popular Lunch and Learn session, attendees were able to discuss other issues of interest to them with a Spilman attorney. The symposium ended with an entertaining game of "SuperVision Jeopardy" that creatively addressed some of the toughest questions relating to labor and employment law and human resources.
