Spilman Attorneys Recognized by Pa. Super Lawyers
Charleston, W.Va. – The law firm Spilman Thomas & Battle, PLLC announced that two attorneys were recognized in the 2013 edition of
Pennsylvania Super Lawyers® magazine.
Kevin M. Eddy, in the firm’s
Pittsburgh office, and
Barry A. Naum, in the firm’s
Harrisburg-area office, were named to the Rising Stars list.
The objective of the Super Lawyers® selection process is to create a credible, comprehensive and diverse listing of outstanding attorneys from more than 70 practice areas that can be used as a resource to assist attorneys and consumers in the search for legal counsel. The research methodology includes a statewide nomination process, peer review by practice area and independent research. No more than 2.5 percent of a state’s attorneys are named to the Rising Stars list.
Eddy was recognized for excellence in practicing
energy and
natural resources law, business law
litigation, and
construction law litigation. He represents companies in the
oil and gas,
consumer finance and
construction industries. He is a council member for the Young Lawyers Division of the Allegheny County Bar Association.
Naum was recognized for excellence in practicing
energy and
natural resources law, general
litigation, and
bankruptcy law. He devotes a significant portion of his practice to
utility law,
energy law and
communications law. He is a United States Army Veteran and served as a Cavalry Officer in Operation Iraqi Freedom.
