Spilman Attorneys Recognized by N.C. Super Lawyers®

The law firm Spilman Thomas & Battle, PLLC (Spilman) announced that attorneys Rayford K. “Trip” Adams III and Nathan B. Atkinson were recognized by North Carolina Super Lawyers® magazine. Both attorneys received excellent reviews from their peers during the Super Lawyers® selection process.

Adams was named to the 2013 Super Lawyers® list for excellence in Bankruptcy Law. His primary areas of practice are bankruptcy, creditors’ rights, and commercial disputes and workouts. He has more than 30 years of experience in all aspects of bankruptcy matters. He is board-certified as a Specialist in Business and Consumer Bankruptcy Law by the North Carolina State Bar Board of Legal Specialization.

Atkinson was named to the 2013 Super Lawyers® Rising Stars list for excellence in Environmental Litigation. His practice at Spilman encompasses environmental litigation, complex toxic tort litigation, chemical exposure and water contamination litigation, and complex multi-party cases. He is also a lead member of The Battle Group, Spilman’s high-stakes litigation strike force.
