James S. Crockett, Jr. and
Sharon L. Potter were inducted as Fellows into the Litigation Counsel of America (LCA).
The LCA is a trial lawyer honorary society composed of less than one-half of one percent of attorneys in the United States. Crockett, a member in Spilman’s

The Battle Group, the firm’s high-stakes litigation strike force. His practice focuses on complex
commercial litigation, business torts, coal litigation,
environmental litigation and
bankruptcy litigation. He is admitted to practice in West Virginia and Virginia.
Potter, a member in the firm’s
Wheeling office, is also a member of
The Battle Group. She focuses her practice on
general litigation and white-collar criminal defense. She is admitted to practice in West Virginia and Pennsylvania. Prior to joining Spilman, Potter served as the United States Attorney for the Northern District of West Virginia.
