North Carolina SuperVision Symposium Helps Businesses Prepare for What’s Next

September 19, 2014

Winston-Salem, N.C. — Spilman Thomas & Battle, PLLC (Spilman) announced that approximately 70 business leaders from the Mid-Atlantic region gathered today for the law firm’s North Carolina SuperVision™ symposium, which focused on helping businesses prepare for what’s next in employment challenges.

Remarks by keynote speaker Tom Walter, head baseball coach for Wake Forest University, and the event’s closing question and answer session with Spilman attorneys and corporate experts were highlights of the symposium.

In addition to eight Spilman attorneys, corporate experts from Harsco, Novant Health, Allegacy Federal Credit Union, Debbie’s Staffing and Coca-Cola Bottling Co. Consolidated spoke at the symposium. Presentations focused on what’s next across the spectrum of human resources hot topics, including employee litigation and related costs, employee wellness and productivity, labor regulatory policies, and human capital and trade secrets.

The popular SuperVision™ event series was launched eight years ago by Spilman’s labor and employment group, which has been recognized nationally for representation of management in employment disputes. The symposia are complimentary and are offered in various locations throughout Spilman’s geographical footprint each year.
