New Member Strengthens Spilman’s Nationally Recognized Bankruptcy & Creditors’ Rights Services

Roanoke, Va. — The law firm Spilman Thomas & Battle, PLLC (Spilman) announced that Peter M. Pearl joined the firm as a member. He will assume a leadership position within Spilman’s nationally recognized bankruptcy and creditors’ rights practice group.

“We are delighted to have Pete as part of Team Spilman,” said Webster Day, member in charge of the Roanoke office. “He brings a lot to the table for our clients seeking advice and representation in a wide range of lending and workout situations.”

Pearl is an accomplished attorney with nearly 30 years of experience assisting clients in the areas of commercial bankruptcy law, workouts, general corporate law and corporate finance law. He is AV® Preeminent™ Peer Review Rated by Martindale-Hubbell, indicating the highest level of ethical standards and professional ability.

Pearl is a member of the Virginia and Georgia Bar Associations, the American Bankruptcy Institute and the Roanoke Bar Association. He served as Chair of the Bankruptcy Section of the Atlanta Bar Association from 2002-2003 and was a board member of the section for six years.

Pearl earned his undergraduate degree from Washington & Lee University and his law degree from George Mason University School of Law. He is admitted to practice in Virginia and Georgia.
