— The law firm Spilman Thomas & Battle, PLLC (Spilman) announced today that Amy King Condaras
, member in the firm’s Charleston, W.Va.
office, has been selected as a 2013 Young Gun by West Virginia Executive
magazine. The recognition is based on Condaras’ accomplishments in business and her contributions to the community.
Condaras joined Spilman in 2006 and was elected as a new member in 2009, relatively early in her career. She co-chairs the firm’s Banking and Finance Practice Group and remains involved in various other firm leadership roles, including sitting on the firm’s marketing committee and leading the firm’s Women’s Networking Initiative.
Condaras has been actively involved in community service in leadership roles with charitable and economic development organizations. She has been involved in efforts for CreateWV, the CAMC Foundation and the Girl Scouts. She regularly contributes to the United Way in various capacities and continues to serve as a board member of and fundraiser for the Children’s Therapy Clinic. She also volunteers for ReadAloud and regularly finds ways of contributing to the Clay Center for the Arts and Sciences.
