Mr. Wallace’s primary areas of practice are labor and employment law and complex civil litigation.

Representative Experience

  • Representation of employers in all phases of employment litigation in state and federal courts throughout the Firm's regional footprint
  • Trial counsel on claims of race, age, sex and disability discrimination, wrongful discharge, workplace harassment, violations of the Uniform Trade Secrets Act and breaches of the duty of loyalty
  • Extensive traditional labor law experience, including assistance and advice prior to and during union organizing campaigns and strikes
  • Lead counsel in multiple labor-related litigation matters in federal courts across the region
  • Representation of employers in numerous proceedings before the National Labor Relations Board, including unfair labor practice trials, unit clarification (UC) proceedings, representation hearings and union elections
  • Successful representation of management in many labor grievance arbitrations, including disciplinary and contract interpretation grievances
  • Appellate representation, including appellate oral argument, before state and federal appellate tribunals
  • Development of affirmative action plans for employers and defense of compliance audits by the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs
  • Strategic advice and counseling of employers on a wide range of labor and employment issues
