Ms. Harris' primary area of practice is litigation with an emphasis on labor and employment law, consumer finance and public utility and energy law.

Representative Experience

  • Representing employers on claims of discrimination, retaliation and wrongful discharge, as well as contract disputes, business torts and other civil litigation matters in federal and state courts and before administrative agencies such as the Department of Labor, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the Virginia Employment Commission
  • Providing advice and counseling to employers on labor and employment issues including EEO policies and practices
  • Representing large electricity consumers in matters pending before state public service/utility commissions, including the Virginia State Corporation Commission
