Spilman Attorneys Recognized by NC Super Lawyers

Winston-Salem, N.C. – The law firm Spilman Thomas & Battle, PLLC (Spilman) announced that three attorneys were recognized in North Carolina Super Lawyers magazine. Rayford K. “Trip” Adams III was named on the Super Lawyers list, and Erin Jones Adams and R. Scott Adams were named on the publication’s Rising Stars list.
 
The objective of the Super Lawyers selection process is to create a credible, comprehensive and diverse listing of outstanding attorneys from more than 70 practice areas that can be used as a resource to assist attorneys and consumers in the search for legal counsel. Erin Jones Adams, who recently was named a partner at Spilman, focuses on general civil litigation with a special emphasis on employment law and e-discovery law. She frequently speaks to clients and business leaders on labor and employment law issues at Spilman’s SuperVision™ symposia and other events.

Scott Adams, also recently named a partner, works primarily in consumer financial services law. His practice also includes banking and finance law, bankruptcy law and creditors’ rights law. He publishes a blog titled Banking on This: Spilman Mortgage & Consumer Banking Report.

Trip Adams practices in the areas of bankruptcy, creditors’ rights, and commercial disputes and workouts. He has more than 30 years of experience in all aspects of bankruptcy matters. He is board-certified as a Specialist in Business and Consumer Bankruptcy Law by the North Carolina State Bar Board of Legal Specialization.
