Titus, Gerald M., III
Mr. Titusā primary area of practice is general civil litigation, including
product liability
defense, personal injury litigation and trucking accidents. Mr. Titus also practices in
Marcellus & Utica Shale law.
Representative Experience
- Experienced in litigating matters in state and federal courts in West Virginia
- Defended product liability claims against manufacturers of medical devices, wheelchairs, pain pumps, oxygen delivery systems, pharmaceuticals, firearms, automobiles, construction and manufacturing equipment, mining equipment and respiratory protection equipment
- Represented clients in personal injury and wrongful death actions, trucking and automobile accidents, class actions, contract disputes, consumer litigation and premises liability claims
- Negotiated favorable resolutions of disputes, including representing clients in mediation
- Experienced in coordinating local and national litigation with corporate counsel and national counsel

- Served as an Assistant United States Attorney for the Southern District of West Virginia, prosecuting violent federal crimes, including firearms offenses and bank robbery, 2007 – 2009
- Represented the United States in the investigation, indictment, trial and appeal of violent criminal cases in federal court
