Ms. Smith's primary areas of practice are labor and employment law, workers' compensation and immigration.

Representative Experience
  • Assists with litigatoin on federal and state claims of race, sex, religion, age and disability discrimination; breach of contract; wrongful termination; whistleblower; state and federal wage claims; retaliation and unlawful harassment
  • Defends employers in workers' compensation claims related to workplace injuries and occupational disease
  • Assists clients with compliance with Form I-9 employment eligibility requirements, including conducting training and internal audits
