- Obtained plaintiff's verdict as first chair after jury trial on the merits of securities fraud litigation brought under Virginia Securities Act
- Reached favorable settlement defending institutional financial client in breach of contract litigation
- Provided strategic support for arbitration award of over $1MM in breach of contract litigation regarding commission due after sale of company
Construction Law
- Successfully sought dismissal of several suits to enforce mechanic's liens on behalf of isntitutional financial clients
- Filed memoranda of mechanic's liens on behalf of contractors and subcontractors
- Advised clients regarding construction contrats between contractors and owners and contractors and subcontractors
Creditors' Rights / Bankruptcy Law
- Negotiated workout agreements between institutional financial clients and commercial borrowers
- Represented institutional financial clients as both secrued and unsecured creditors in individual and commercial Chapter 11 cases
- Represented institutional financial client in obtaining favorable settlement objection to discharge litigation
- Advised institutional financial clients regarding lender liability claims

- Assisted in development of corporate structures for start-up production company and its subsidiaries
- Developed contracts between production company and performing artists, engineers and producers
- Represented production company and artists in contract negotiations between performing artist and record company
