Representative Experience
- Served as outside Risk Manager and litigation counsel for Ohio Valley Medical Center, a community hospital, while the hospital was self-insured, 1985 - 1999
- Served as liaison counsel between excess carrier and hospital for purposes of determining hospital's insurance coverage needs, placement and renewals
- Provided claims management services
- Lead counsel in several cases involving personal injuries, wrongful death, catastrophic injury and professional liability
- Counsel for general hospital, handling a diversity of health care related issues including contract preparation and review, hospital and medical-dental staff bylaws review and revisions, medical-dental staff disciplinary proceedings and employment law
