Representative Experience
- Represents employers in a wide variety of labor and employment matters, including state and federal statutory claims of discrimination, claims of wrongful discharge in violation of public policy, wage and hour disputes and employee benefit claims
- Represents clients in actions under the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (“ERISA”) in state and federal courts
- Drafts, promotes and monitors legislation and administrative rules before the West Virginia Legislature and Executive Branch
- Represents employers with regard to safety matters under the Mine Health and Safety Act (“MSHA”) and the Occupational Health and Safety Act (“OSHA”), including regulatory compliance, citations and employment discrimination issues related to safety
- Represents employers in complex immigration matters involving United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (“USCIS”), the Department of Homeland Security (“DHS”) and the Department of Labor (“DOL”)
