Representative Experience
Oil & Gas
- Represent and counsel exploration & production companies in the Marcellus Shale region concerning leasing, royalty disputes, permitting, commercial transactions, joint venture agreements, regulatory compliance, environmental litigation, work place safety, breach of contract claims and employment matters
Construction
- Represent owners, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and design professionals on numerous public and private projects in all stages of the construction process, including identifying and defining appropriate project delivery systems; negotiating and drafting design and/or construction contract documents; identifying, assessing and allocating risk; bonding; defining and structuring insurance programs; initiating risk management and control programs; developing and implementing contract administration as well as claims avoidance and resolution procedures; and litigation through trial and arbitration
Insurance
- Represent insurance companies in Federal and state insurance coverage and bad faith litigation involving a wide variety of matters arising under numerous types of policies, including commercial general liability policies, directors and officers liability policies, property and casualty policies, professional errors and omissions policies, and life and disability insurance policies
Transportation
- Represent Class I Railroads as National Counsel in Federal and state litigation involving the Federal Employers' Liability Act, Railway Labor Act, Railway Safety Act, Medicare compliance and workplace safety
Environmental
- Experience working with health, safety and environmental statutes, including the Clean Water, Clean Air Act, CERCLA, Mine Subsidence and Land Conservation Act and RCRA
Consumer Finance
- Represent financial services institutions related to consumer finance litigation in Pennsylvania including experience with the Unfair Trade Practices and Consumer Protection Law, the predatory lending, and regulatory compliance.
