Mr. Davis is a general litigator with special emphasis on education, employment, and commercial litigation. He devotes a large portion of his practice to the representation of public, private and charter schools and education-related entities.

Representative Experience
  • Significant experience in all aspects of employment law, including investigations of alleged employee misconduct, responding to and appearing in administrative proceedings, and advising and counseling on all types of employment-related issues such as the Family and Medical Leave Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, and Title IX
  • Extensive education law experience, including litigation, and counseling and advising superintendents, principals and other key employees in all facets of education law
  • Advised school systems regarding workplace misconduct, student discipline, student special education, athletic eligibility issues, bail bond forfeitures, real estate acquisition and financing options, and construction contracts
  • Advising and assisting clients on Form I-9 record-keeping issues, employment eligibility requirements, and representing clients before government agencies
